Ep. 9 The Importance of Ownership
In this episode I discuss the importance of ownership and supporting black businesses. Lavar Ball is the owner of "Big Baller Brand". Recently he released the debut shoe of his son Lonzo Ball. This sneaker made national attention after being listed at a retail price of $495. Many people criticized the price and vision of BBB. Now blacks will spend hundred and thousands of dollars on clothes and merchandise that's not made by people that literally do not want blacks wearing it. It seems at times the black community will find any excuse to not support a black business. We need to understand the importance of ownership and not being exploited.
